Testimonial '
“I had the absolute pleasure of going on a kayaking expedition with Luna for 5 days in mid September at Lake Eildon.

I had such an amazing adventure, lead with expert facilitation and kindness.

I loved Luna's adaptability when the weather seemed to have a different plan to what she had scheduled. Being safe and understanding why we do what we do is a big priority for me and Luna was excellent at always communicating that with me. She helped me to feel so calm and confident even when faced with wild, quick changing and challenging weather, especially as I am a kayaking beginner.

Not only did I feel physically at ease, but I felt so emotionally supported the whole time. Luna has a powerful ability to authentically listen, validate and acknowledge feelings. I am a big communicator, (I love to talk) so I endlessly appreciated her debriefing,  listening and asking questions that made me think beyond the surface. I love to explore thinking about things differently, and Luna really encouraged that through conversation.

I also really loved her expertise in knowing challenges vs safety; as an outdoor ed facilitator myself, I can understand a lot of personal growth can come from stepping out of your comfort zone and Luna did a great job of allowing that for me but always knowing the line of safety.

The food we had all week was so delicious, I was always feeling nourished and my tea cup was never empty! I really appreciated Luna's care and consultation with me about what we were going to eat for the week. Couldn’t have asked for a better menu! It would be hard to go back to standard camp/hike food after seeing the meals she can create on a campfire!

This five days for me are five days I’ll never forget, I feel as though I learnt so much about myself and my surroundings, and Luna really helped facilitate a lot of personal growth and confidence in myself. So many laughs, challenges, lessons and triumphs! On this trip I really feel as though I found the direction in life I want to go, and I am so grateful for the encouragement and opportunity Luna provided.

I had such an amazing time, I am very excited to book another trip very soon.”

Lots of love,
Sophie

Luna BIO

Meet Luna

With over 15 years of experience in wilderness education, Luna has dedicated her life to guiding people through nature-based adventures that inspire connection, growth, and self-discovery.

Having led kayaking expeditions for many years through her small business, Luna combines deep outdoor knowledge with a calm, grounded presence that helps people feel safe, supported, and inspired in the wilderness. She is trained in wilderness first aid and has extensive experience exploring the Eildon region, with a strong understanding and respect for its waterways, landscapes, and changing conditions.

For Luna, these journeys are about far more than kayaking. They are about helping people slow down, reconnect to themselves, and explore their own internal terrain — creating space for clarity, self-love, healing, and peace.

She believes the wilderness has a powerful way of reminding us what truly matters: simplicity, connection, gratitude, and respect for the natural world.

Luna is deeply passionate about sharing these experiences with others, so they too can appreciate the beauty of life, the healing rhythm of nature, and the profound respect that the wilderness teaches us.
