rendition of the Four Gospels, written in minuscule Greek (ca. 1125-1150).
During this intimate viewing curators and
conservators will speak about the significance of this rare manuscript, and explore how it was made, with a focus on artisans’ materials and techniques. Prepare for a deep dive into the world of precious earth pigments, inks sourced from
insects and parchment made from beasts.
