Known as one of Australia’s most recognised Olympic coaches and water safety advocates, Laurie has dedicated more than 50 years to swimming education, coaching excellence and drowning prevention. Through his work with World Wide Swim School, Laurie continues to educate swim teachers, coaches, parents and the wider aquatic industry using his world-renowned learn to swim philosophies. His experience includes coaching and supporting swimmers at Olympic level, with athletes he assisted achieving 10 gold, 11 silver and 12 bronze Olympic medals.
In this session, Laurie will share the core principles that have shaped his approach to teaching swimming, building water confidence and developing safe, capable swimmers from the earliest stages. This webinar is ideal for swim teachers, coaches, swim school owners and aquatic professionals looking to strengthen their teaching practice and learn from one of the industry’s most respected voices.
