Year 10 Course Counselling
About
About Year 10 Course CounsellingYear 10 Course Counselling is an important step in helping students plan for their future education, training and career pathways. These meetings provide an opportunity for students, parents/carers and staff to discuss subject selections and ensure that each student’s choices align with their interests, strengths, goals and intended pathways beyond school.
During the counselling process, subject selections are reviewed to ensure students meet any eligibility requirements, prerequisites and pathway recommendations for future VCE, VCE VM, TAFE, apprenticeships, university or employment options.
We strongly encourage parents/carers to be actively involved in the process, as their support and input play an important role in helping students make informed and confident decisions about their future. Together, we aim to support every student in creating a pathway that is both achievable and meaningful.
