About
A free, on-station, one-day course designed for early-career pastoralists and station staff. The course strengthens participants’ understanding of how rangeland health and beef production are interconnected, while recognising the diversity of landscapes and production systems across the rangelands. This one-day workshop covers a broad range of foundational rangeland management topics, including:
• an introduction to pasture species
• rainfall patterns
• land condition
• principles of cattle nutrition
