WINTERFEST 2026 Star Academy Dance Camp 16th and 17th July
We are beyond excited to finally share something truly special happening in the July school holidays!
✨ Star Academy presents: Winterfest Dance Camp ✨
📅 Thursday 16th & Friday 17th July
Two HUGE days of dance, training, inspiration, and unforgettable experiences at Star Academy!
To celebrate our 15th year, we are incredibly proud to announce a very special highlight for Winterfest…
We will be welcoming internationally renowned commercial choreographer Lauren Elton as our headline guest artist!
Lauren will be creating an original commercial choreography piece across the two days, which will be performed by all Winterfest attendees at our 2026 End of Year Concert. This is an extraordinary opportunity for our students to be part of a professional creative process at the highest level.
Lauren is one of Australia’s leading commercial choreographers, having worked alongside and collaborated with industry icons such as Mitchell Woodcock, Kelley Abbey, The Squared Division, and Marko Panzic. Her performance credits span global stages and screens, including work with Rita Ora, Little Mix, Jessica Mauboy, Peach PRC, Client Liaison, Guy Sebastian, Darren Hayes, Tones and I, and the Minogue sisters, among many others.
We are absolutely thrilled to be bringing this calibre of experience to our students.
In addition to Lauren, we are proud to present an incredible line-up of specialist teachers across all genres:
Joseph Simmons – Musical Theatre
Sofia Maur – Lyrical / Contemporary
Emily Papalia – Broadway Jazz & Showgirl Technique (Senior students)
Genevieve Nixon – Jumps, Kicks & Turns
Jackeline Valente – Progressive Ballet Technique
Monica Swayne – Jazz / Musical Theatre
Charlotte Lewis – Tap
Program Details
🕘 9:00am – 3:00pm (both days)
🍎 Includes lunch and scheduled break times
👕 All students will receive a commemorative Winterfest T-shirt, which can be signed by their teachers
*OPEN TO STAR ACADEMY ELITE STUDENTS IN THE 8 & UNDER, 10 & UNDER, 12 & UNDER, 15 & UNDER AND OPEN ELITE TEAMS.
