2026 Children's Book Week "Symphony of Stories"
About
The Broome Public Library is proud to present Kelly Canby our 2026 Children’s Book Week visiting author.
Kelly Canby is an internationally published illustrator and author. Kelly was born in London, but has lived in Australia since the age of three, which is probably around the same age she started playing with pencils and crayons, and it was probably only a few years after that that she decided playing with pencils and crayons was something she wanted to do for the rest of her life.
She is an award-winning writer and illustrator:

Western Australian Premier’s Book Awards winner, Writing for Children
Children’s Book Council of Australia shortlisted, Picture Book of the Year

Please note: There are 2 classes (30 pupils per class) allocated for each timeslot.
If you would like to bring more then 1 class? Please book both classes for that timeslot.
Reason for 1 minute difference in start times: For example there are 2 classes, one starts at 8.44am and one starts at 8.45am and both classes end at 9.45am, both are one workshop session. Trybooking does not allow 2 classes in the same timeslot that is the reason for the 1 minute difference.
