Yin Yoga - Airey's Community Hall (June)

Hey lovely people!Join us for a 60 minute Yin Yoga session at the Airey's Inlet Community Centre.
Yin is quite a passive form of yoga. We will remain very close to the ground and sink into shapes for 3-5 minutes at a time. In doing so, we are targeting not just the muscles but the more "yin" tissues of the body - ligaments, fascia and even the bones.
This practice creates a container of quiet and stillness, allowing for the opportunity to slow down and observe what arises in your experience away from the expectations and judgements of the busy modern world.
Classes may include short meditations and breath work practices.
BRING:
- warm clothes & a blanket (I’ll have the heaters going but it can still get a little chilly!)
- a towel to help support shapes eg. to pad the knees
- a mat (some provided if you don’t have one)
- a drink bottle/travel tea if you’d like one
Bolsters, blocks and straps will also be provided to help create the level of comfort required to find ease in each shape.
All levels of experience and flexibility welcome.
Please aim to arrive 5-10 minutes early so that we can get started right on 5pm.
