About
Join us for a powerful, intimate, magical evening of spoken word GOLD, celebrating the rich, deep, vast five-week poetry adventure that has been Uncovering the Gold!
This showcase is an opportunity to experience the incredible poetry that has emerged during these inspired workshops. These poets and artists — from emerging voices to deeply seasoned creatives — have been diving deep and uncovering truth, tenderness, beauty, chaos, humour, heartbreak, revelation… POETRY.
Each artist is a world unto themself. Every poem — a universe. Prepare to be cracked open. Prepare to laugh. Possibly cry. Prepare to be moved by POETRY!
“Good poetry begins with the lightest touch, a breeze arriving from nowhere, then like a hand in the dark it arrests your whole body, steeling you for revelation.” — David Whyte
Artists: Katie Lohner, Anna Royals, Michael Barlow, Jane Flanagan, Jackson Elhage, Jez PA Speelman
