Friday begins with range setup and competitor registration, 

The first championship event is Military Application,
a challenging 300-yard offhand rifle match. Competitors fire 10 rounds in 7½ minutes,
This event tests speed, control, loading discipline and practical military-style shooting skill.

Later in the afternoon, Military Musket and Sporting Musket will be run
at 50 yards offhand. Competitors fire 13 shots, with the best 10 shots to score.

Saturday begins with rifle practice before the Australian Muzzle Loading Rifle Championships,
shot at 100 yards across offhand, sit/kneel and prone positions.

Traditional, Military and Open rifle categories will be shot concurrently, with juniors shooting at 75 yards.

The afternoon continues with Flintlock Rifle, a 50-yard offhand field-loading event using open sights,
followed by the Cannon event at 50 yards.

The evening will feature the always-popular Knife and Tomahawk Throw,
bringing a relaxed traditional-skills element to the championship weekend.

Sunday is dedicated to the muzzle-loading shotgun events.

At 9:00 am, the Australian Open Muzzle Loading Shotgun Championship and the Australian Flintlock Shotgun Championship
will be conducted on the MLAIC layout, using a 20-target single-rise format.

The shotgun events test timing, swing, consistency and black powder shotgun handling. All ties will be resolved by
shoot-off after each event. The host club reserves the right to reduce the number of clays if necessary.

The weekend will conclude with the Presentation of Prizes at approximately 4:00 pm,
recognising competitors across the championship events and bringing the
65th Australian Muzzle Loading Rifle and Shotgun Championships to a close
