Gilli Apter is one of South Africa’s sharpest comedic voices, featured on the Netflix show Only Jokes Allowed. Currently based in London, Gilli continues her never-ending European tour with her consistently sold out solo show The Hilarious Deep Amazing Comedy Show which is also being performed in various Australian cities in July/August 2026.Gilli's comedy is relatable, refreshing and always based on truth - as a result, it can sometimes be painful. But it's a good pain, a pain you won't regret. Which thematically brings us to the fact that Gilli is also one of South Africa's few Jewish comics, and has been entertaining Jewish audiences for many years.
