Hunter School of the Performing Arts proudly presents the 2026 Junior Drama Production of Roald Dahl's The Witches: Plays for Children.
Roald Dahl's beloved classic comes to life in a chilling but thrilling new production filled with dynamic physical theatre, imaginative storytelling, haunting projections and striking visual design.
Audiences will be drawn into a richly whimsical world where ordinary people may not be quite what they appear—and where courage, friendship and a little bravery are the keys to an extraordinary adventure!
Spellbinding, suspenseful and packed with theatricality, The Witches is a captivating tale for audiences aged 9 and up.
CONTENT ADVICE
The Witches contains moments of suspense, theatrical scares and supernatural themes that may be unsettling for some younger audience members. This production includes gothic imagery, loud sound effects, haze, strobe lighting, projections and stylised depictions of witches.
While designed to be chilling but thrilling, the performance is presented within a theatrical context and is recommended for audiences aged 9 years and over. Parental discretion is advised for younger children.
