Behind the AEDC - Kwinana’s Early Years Story
About
Kwinana’s latest AEDC results show a small positive shift, while broader trends are moving in the other direction.The ECFN gathered insights from families whose children were part of the 2021 AEDC cohort, focusing on the services, programs and supports they engaged with for their child or children. We also heard from service providers about what was in place for families at the time.
We are now inviting families, educators, schools, services, community organisations and local leaders to help make sense of what we heard.
Together we will explore:
- What supports families connected with
- What was available for children and families
- Where child development needs were noticed or missed
- What may have helped Kwinana children and families
- What we should strengthen together
Your insights will help us understand and build a collective story of change.
