About
As the longest night gives way to the returning light, we gather in warmth, wonder, and community.We warmly invite our families to join us for our Winter Solstice celebration, a gentle evening of lantern light, song, shared food, and seasonal joy. Much like last year’s gathering, we will begin together at the beach from 4pm, lighting our lanterns as the evening settles around us, sharing songs before returning to Orenda for a cosy potluck-style dinner.
All family members are warmly welcome to attend. To help us prepare the space and plan for the evening, we ask that families please confirm numbers via the attached TryBooking link.
Families are invited to bring along a dish to share, with a food sign-up list available to help guide contributions across a variety of categories.
Winter Solstice offers a meaningful pause within the colder months — a time to come together, honour the returning light, and celebrate the warmth of community.
