About
Many of you will know Tracey from her performances at festivals and clubs, sometimes solo, and sometimes with others. Her work with The Nightingales (Tracey, Maria Ford, and Claire Patti) has mesmerised many of us with rich three part vocal harmonies in a mix of Celtic and folk music using their voices, harp, piano, guitar, and French horn. But there is another side to Tracey’s musical life: jazz. In this GFMC performance, she will fuse Celtic music with jazz and, accompanied by saxophone and drums, present a fresh and distinctive perspectiveon folk music.
