Nathan is about to turn 4! Let's help him celebrate !!
He has had a REALLY TOUGH nine months, since being diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, an aggressive childhood cancer.
Out of the 250 days since his diagnosis, Nathan has spent 234 days in the hospital— he has had only 16 hospital-free days in the last nine months.
Nathan was diagnosed in September 2025 with Neuroblastoma at just 3 years old.
He has undergone five intensive rounds of chemotherapy, enduring horrific side effects.
February 2026: 9-hour surgery to remove his main tumor.
Post-Surgery he developed a rare complication and was unable to eat or drink orally. He was connected to medical lines to feed him, deliver medication and drain excess fluid with only a few line free hours each day.
He endured another 8-hour surgery and had to restart his cancer treatment, including chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
Nathan has recently had the drain removed and is trying to return to eating food normally, however this is not easy and his feed lines are still required 24/7 for essential nutrition
He still has many months of difficult treatment ahead.
Despite everything he is going through, Nathan is quick to smile and has an infectious laugh. He loves to spend his precious line-free time fearlessly feeding the ducks, and he remains an absolute bundle of sunshine and cheekiness.
How This Affects the Family:
His mum had to give up work completely to stay by Nathan's side in the hospital. His two older sisters (6 and 8 years old) are at school and deeply miss having their little brother at home. Meanwhile, his dad is constantly adjusting his work schedule to look after the family, leaving him unable to work any overtime. Between hospital stays and daily logistics, the family is facing massive additional expenses.
This fundraiser is our chance to show our support and try to ease some of that financial pressure.
The family also has a gofundme link if you would prefer to donate here https://gofund.me/f10c332e6
