Brisbane City Hall & Clock Tower Tour (SOLD OUT)
About
Welcome to our new She Shed group Tours and Treats! Our inaugural tour will be a beautiful and exciting one, touring the glorious old City Hall and then riding one of the oldest cage lifts in Brisbane!
With its impressive neo-classical façade, mosaic tiles, stained-glass windows and soaring ceilings, Brisbane City Hall is heritage listed. A highlight is the stunning auditorium, inspired by Rome’s Pantheon and is home to the Father Henry Willis & Sons Pipe Organ, made up of nearly 4,400 pipes.
The Clock Tower Tour includes a ride in one of Brisbane’s oldest working cage lifts, a look behind Australia’s largest analogue clock faces and time to explore the observation platform that shares a unique perspective of your city.
Following the City Hall Tour we will have two groups one at 12.45 and the other at 1pm due to lift capacity for the City Hall Clock Tower Tours.
We’ll stay nice and dry no matter the weather and will follow with lunch nearby for those who wish to partake!
