Join us to discuss our long-listed applicants and decide who should be invited to submit a full application and receive a site-visit. No prior-experience necessary. All are welcome.If you are a donor considering attending the 1st Assessment evening for the first time, we thought it would be helpful to give you a bit of a taster of what to expect.
We kick off the evening with light nibbles and drinks before everyone takes a seat. This is a great opportunity to get to know your fellow donors, we have some fabulous people involved and there are some great tales to share!
Generally we work through the longlisted applications alphabetically, with a short summary of each discussed, in a 'Q&A-like' format.
At the end of the evening, we vote using our mobile phones for the applications we prefer (all current donors can have a vote), creating a ranking which determines the applications shortlisted and invited to submit a 'full application'.
So you can expect all of that...with a lot of laughter and fun on the side!
