Discover the Lourdes Hill difference at our very first Try Year 5 experience day on Wednesday 17 June 2026.
Designed exclusively for future families with daughters currently in Year 4 and considering Year 5 in 2027, Try Year 5 is an exciting opportunity for your daughter to step into the shoes of an LHC junior student for a day.
From the moment she arrives, your daughter will be warmly welcomed by our Year 5 student leaders and experience a typical day at LHC. She will participate in classes, have lunch with current students, and discover the wide range of academic, sporting and cultural opportunities on offer.
At the end of the day, Parents are encouraged to attend a casual Q&A panel session, hearing from current Year 5 and 6 students and parents about their experiences in the Junior School across a variety of areas such as co-curricular, extension, leadership, learning support and day-to-day life. Hear from a Year 7 student and parent who began their LHC journey in the Junior School.
Parents and Caregivers will have the opportunity to ask any questions of the Head of Junior School and Junior School Learning Support Teacher.

Entry/Exit: Gate 3, Virginia Avenue (Main Reception entry). Please allow extra time to find street parking as there is no on-campus parking.
Dress: Students – current Primary School uniform
What to bring: Pencil case, hat, drink bottle, lunch and afternoon tea
