Shannon Bourne, acclaimed blues and roots guitarist known for his work with musicians including Chris Wilson, The Black Sorrows, Don Walker and Broderick Smith, presents an evening of solo experimental improvised guitar. Exploring texture, space and spontaneity, Bourne’s performance promises a deeply immersive and unpredictable musical experience.Inga Liljestrom opens the night with an intimate solo performance featuring haunting vocals, electric guitar and animated projections of her collages, setting the scene for an evening of beauty, introspection and raw honesty. Held at the intimate Merri Creek Tavern, this special one-night event takes place Saturday 13 June.
