Knowing our member behind the badge is an important part of the Rotary community. We have two members, Yuriy Netrusov, and Emily Coltraine sharing with us their stories, and also giving us an insight into their vocations.Yuriy is an Australian-qualified solicitor and international arbitration practitioner with practical experience across civil-law and common-law systems. Acting regularly in commercial disputes, with a client-facing advisory role and lead drafting of submissions, affidavits and procedural applications in court and tribunal proceedings. Former tribunal secretary and assistant to Neil Kaplan CBE KC SBS (2021–2026) in commercial and investor-state arbitrations, including proceedings under UNCITRAL and ICSID frameworks, and AFSA, HKIAC, ICC, LCIA and SIAC rules. Research and editorial experience in private international law and international arbitration (LexisNexis; Kluwer). Languages: English (fluent), Ukrainian (native), Russian (native), German (basic).
Emily is the founder of Red Fox Strategy, a boutique consultancy working across business strategy, communications, and growth delivery. Their work focuses on helping organisations bring structure and clarity to growth or transition phases by defining direction, aligning teams, and managing the moving parts that turn plans into outcomes. They work with leadership teams navigating change, expansion, or repositioning, providing both strategic oversight and hands-on delivery. Em’s background spans strategy, operations, and communications, giving her a clear view of how decisions translate into results. Em works closely with clients across several industries, including corporate, property, finance, investment and not-for-profit sectors, offering the capability of a senior in-house executive with the objectivity and pace of an external partner. Red Fox Strategy is built on three principles: clarity, speed, and impact. Every engagement is designed to deliver focus, momentum, and measurable outcomes.
