Sailing to Gaza: Q&A with Neve O'connor
About
Join Students for Palestine Australia and the UMSU Environment Office for a special forum with Neve O'Connor, a participant on the largest ever humanitarian mission to break Israel's siege on Gaza. The Global Sumud Flotilla's latest effort saw over 400 brave activists from 56 countries across the world attempt to sail to Gaza with life saving aid. They were kidnapped in international waters by the Israeli military and spent days being tortured. Neve was one of those people, and she's back in Australia now to talk to us about the mission, and the continued importance of activists in the West fighting for a free Palestine.Location
