Join us for an extraordinary evening of food, culture, storytelling and celebration at the Yidinji Gala Dinner.

Guests are invited to arrive from 5.30pm and meet at the Porte Cochere, where a special smoking ceremony will commence at 6pm, followed with a welcome by the great warrior and leader Yeinie of the Walubara Yidinji people, to begin this meaningful cultural journey.

This immersive gala celebrates local ingredients and Yidinji bushfoods, thoughtfully crafted into a contemporary menu that honours ancient cooking techniques. Each course weaves together traditional knowledge, old family recipes and stories passed down through generations.

Throughout the evening, guests will journey through Gimuy Yidinji Country, gaining insight into the history, identity and living culture of the Gimuy Yidinji people. Through food, story and performance, you’ll walk back through time, experiencing ancient memories, cultural expression and deep connection to Country.

Entertainment for the night will feature Minjil and the Briscoe Sisters, a Yalanji trio who bring language and song to the stage, fusing spirituality and contemporary sound.

A truly special night of connection, celebration and storytelling, presented through food, music and shared experience.
