Join Helen for a fun 2 hr workshop where we will turn an A3 sheet of paper into a framed piece of art, plus bookmarks, gift cards and gift tags.It begins with randomly pulling a card from the Colour Cubes…there are 1000 numbered cards to choose from. Then match your card to Japanese watercolours and a big selection of dry media like markers, tempera paint sticks, coloured pencils etc. Having a limited palette ensures your finished art will be cohesive and everyone will be different.
Helen will guide you in using these colourful media to create a full sheet of abstract colour and pattern. The process is very mindful and relaxing, zero art skills or experience is needed, perfect for beginners.
The finished piece will then be cut up to give you a framed piece of art, bookmarks, gift cards and tags. Everything is supplied including the picture frame.
