The PFA is excited to be supporting this year's School Disco with music, dancing, games and activities for students across all year levels.PREP DISCO: 2.30pm - 3.20pm (*FREE EVENT*)
This year, Prep students will enjoy a special disco experience during school time and as part of their Indonesian Day activities. This disco will be run by the Prep team. For this session, PREP STUDENTS DO NOT NEED A TICKET TO BE PURCHASED.
MAIN DISCOS:
Junior School Disco Grades 1 - 3: 4.30pm - 5.30pm
Senior School Disco Grades 4 - 6: 5.45pm - 7pm
These discos will be held in the Main Assembly Hall with music, dancing and activities provided by DJ Jitterbug. Students are welcome to scan the QR code provided (also available on posters around the school) to pre request their favourite song with the DJ for consideration.
BREAKOUT SPACE / SILENT DISCO
From 4.30pm onwards during our Grade 1 - 6 disco's, the PFA will run a Breakout Space and Silent Disco in the Orange Hub.
The Breakout Space is designed to support students who may need a quieter environment away from the lights, noise and busy atmosphere of the main disco.
The room will include:
* A Silent Disco with headphones (so students can still participate in the disco experience but in a gentler way!)
*Sensory Toys
*Lego Building
*Calm Seating Space
*Colouring Activities
To assist with maintaining a calm atmosphere, families who feel their child may want access to the Breakout Space and / or Silent Disco are encouraged to collect a wristband from the school office prior to the event. Students with wristbands will be able to come and go from the breakout space as needed or stay the whole time. Teachers will also be able to support students into the space on the night if needed, even if they do not already have a wristband.
