For our upcoming Term 2 NPEN meeting, we’re pleased to have Madison Robinson, Senior Program Manager from Down Syndrome Victoria, presenting.Madison will be sharing information about MyTime groups, which are open to all parents and carers of children under 18 who require a higher level of care due to disability, chronic medical conditions, developmental delay, or other additional needs.
She will provide an overview of how these groups support parents and carers through:
Access to peer support
Opportunities to unwind in a safe and welcoming space
Sharing ideas, experiences, and strategies with others who understand their journey
This will be a great opportunity to learn more about how MyTime supports families and how we can connect parents and carers into these networks.
