WHAT MAKES THIS PROGRAM DIFFERENT?
Many summer intensives focus primarily on technical outcomes and repetition.
SWAN LAKE SUMMER has been intentionally created to offer something broader and more connected — an experience that encourages dancers to:
Understand movement more deeply
Explore artistry and expression
Develop confidence and creativity
Engage thoughtfully with corrections and communication
Build stronger awareness of alignment and movement pathways
Connect technique with meaning and intention
The program also includes dedicated opportunities for dialogue between teachers, parents and students, helping to create healthier and more supportive approaches to ballet training.
FEATURING EBAS
Elemental Body Alignment System
Created by Scott Putman
EBAS is a series of exercises designed for structural integrity and supported range of motion.
Through anchoring and initiating movements via the pelvis, the body discovers its ability to efficiently articulate movement through experiential anatomy.
Integrated throughout the program, EBAS supports:
Movement awareness
Alignment understanding
Efficient movement pathways
Sustainable technical development
Artistic freedom and expression
