An 8-week group program led by an Occupational Therapist, designed to support Pre-Primary and Year 1 children in developing foundational social-emotional literacy and regulation skills. Using a neuro-affirming approach, the program recognises and respects individual differences while supporting children to build confidence, connection, and meaningful participation in everyday environments.
Through engaging, play-based activities, children will learn to:
+ Identify and understand their emotions
+ Develop strategies to regulate big feelings
+ Build social awareness and interaction skills
+ Strengthen flexibility and problem-solving
What’s included:
+ Weekly parent/educator resources to support carryover and practice at home
+ End-of-program brief summary report outlining progress and recommendations
This group aims to equip children with practical tools to better understand themselves and navigate social situations with greater confidence.
