About
Girls vs. boys. Public vs. private... and an undead Art teacher.The last remaining girls in Mrs Bathory’s Year 10 Art class are sure that their teacher is possessed by the infamous 17th century serial-killer Countess Báthory. They have a fool-proof plan to dispose of Bathory and escape with their lives - but the visiting Judas Gents are elitist private school boys who aren’t quite up to the task of demon hunting.
A chaotic classroom clash, Bathory Begins presents a comedic comment on sexism, classism, and WAY too much garlic in a tube.
On 6 & 7 August 2026 in Montserrat Theatre, selected Senior Drama students will present Bathory Begins, an outrageous teen dark comedy by Emme Hoy and Gretel Vella.
Recommended audience age – 14 and above.
Tickets are $12 per person.
