CEDAR QUARTET
About
The Cedar Quartet is a Melbourne/Naarm-based ensemble formed by violinists Sara Barbagallo and Jessica Leigh, violist Edmund Mantelli, and cellist Sarah Wang. Brought together through their studies at the Melbourne and Queensland Conservatoriums, the quartet is united by a shared passion for collaborative music-making and thoughtful, engaging performance.Both individually and in various chamber pairings, the members have participated in an extensive range of masterclasses with internationally renowned artists and pedagogues, including the Australian String Quartet, Ensemble Q, Flinders Quartet, members of the Australian Chamber Orchestra, and others.
Doors open for refreshments 11.45 am. Tea/coffee and biscuits provided - BYO sandwiches
Concert 12.30 pm to 1.30 pm.
