Good Afternoon,We are excited to announce that we will be offering Children's Scene Reels at the beginning of July.
A professional scene reel is one of the most valuable tools a young actor can have, helping casting directors see their performance skills, screen presence, and ability to deliver dialogue in a professional setting.
To give our young actors plenty of time to prepare, we can send the scripts out now so they can begin learning their scenes well in advance.
Each child will be provided with two scenes to prepare. This allows them to become comfortable with the material and deliver their best possible performance on filming day.
If you would like your child to participate, please book in as soon as possible. A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required to secure your child's place, with the remaining $250 payable on the day of filming.
We have opened bookings early to give families plenty of time to prepare. By securing your child's place with the $50 deposit now, it also allows parents the opportunity to put a little aside each week before filming day, making the investment much more manageable and reducing any financial pressure closer to the date.
As Shakira and Sophie will be coordinating and scheduling all participants, we require a firm commitment once booked. Places are strictly limited and we expect these scene reels to be extremely popular, so we encourage families to secure their spot early to avoid disappointment.
Chelsea will be away for six weeks from the beginning of July, so this round of scene reels will be facilitated by Shakira, our wonderful Acting Mentor. Shakira has extensive experience working with young performers and will guide the children through their scenes to ensure they feel confident, prepared and are able to deliver their very best performance on camera.
Scene reels are an excellent investment for young actors wanting to pursue speaking roles in film, television, commercials and streaming productions. They provide professional footage that can be added to Casting Networks, Showcast, casting submissions and promotional materials, helping your child stand out to casting directors and producers.
