Suitable for ages 16+
Workshop participation (voluntary): Participants at the workshop are encouraged to bring along an item, no larger than A3 size, to create their own digital artwork during the workshop.
About Greg Elms
Greg Elms is a Bayside-based photographer who has forged a career in both commercial and fine art photography. He has exhibited artworks in numerous solo and group shows (including the recent Bayside Local exhibition), and his commercial imagery has been used in advertising, graphic design, books and magazines.
His art practice is inspired by the geometry of nature. He seeks to show the connectedness of all living things by preserving the transient beauty of the natural world.
His commercial commissions have seen him travel the world for Lonely Planet guidebooks, as well as working for local magazines Gourmet Traveller and the Good Weekend among others. He is also a highly regarded food photographer, having completed many cookbook commissions for well-known chefs, including Tony Tan and Kirsten Tibballs.
Examples of Greg's scanner artwork can be seen on his website and Instagram page.
This event is held in association with the exhibition Max Dupain and Ansel Adams: In search of perfection, on display at Bayside Gallery 20 June - 30 August.
