About The Presenters
Keith Snell began teaching when he was fifteen years old under the guidance of his mother, Carol. He maintains a busy, independent piano studio ranging from young beginners through to advanced music majors. He is a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music in Piano by the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA). He is also a member of the MTNA, the National Guild of Piano Teachers (NGPT), and the National Federation of Music Clubs (NFMC).
Keith received Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in Piano Performance from the University of Southern California, where studied piano with John Perry.
A successful performing career began for Keith after he won the Joanna Hodges International Piano Competition, which provided his London debut in 1984. He subsequently signed with Columbia Artist Management and recorded for Virgin Records.
Keith began his association with Neil A. Kjos Music Company in 1995 as a composer, editor and creator of educational materials for piano. Co-author of Piano Town and Fundamentals of Piano Theory, Keith is also well-known to teachers as editor of the Piano Repertoire series, the Master Composer Library, and producer of the CDs for each series. He has over 300 titles in the Kjos catalogue and has presented over 500 workshops on piano teaching throughout the United States and abroad.
Andrew Raiskums is a passionate educator, performer, composer and author behind the AMEB Theory of Music publication series and online music theory courses. Andrew was also a co-author of the new AMEB Series 19 Piano handbooks.
