About

This workshop is for singers, fiddlers, cellists, harpists, piano players, and other rhythm section instruments (e.g upright bass/guitar).

We will be working with world-class guest musicians from Scotland to learn and arrange a song in gaidhlig (Scottish Gaelic). The Scottish guest musicians will lead the whole group as an ensemble, and we will separate into “sectionals” or smaller groups to work on our parts.

This is the first time we’ve done a workshop like this, and it will be a very special thing to take part in.

Our guests are world-class harpists, singers, pianists, fiddlers and great teachers of music and facilitators of music ensembles.

They are four top notch artists from the motherland who perform around Scotland, on Scottish television and all around the world. We’ll be announcing the names of our special guests on Sunday June 7.
