The third annual High Tea and Opera event by the Country Women’s Association of Victoria’s (CWA) Umina Branch is again shaping up to be loads of fun.On Monday 24 August, Melbourne’s The Hotel Windsor will host High Tea and Opera that each year sees a combination of opera, delectable delicacies and charity go hand in hand to raise funds for vulnerable women and children.
This year, organisers have also added the Salvo’s as a beneficiary, with well-known advocate for those experiencing homelessness, Major Brendan Nottle, Commanding Officer of Project 614 for the Salvation Army bringing guests up to speed with the CBD landscape when it comes to those experiencing homelessness.
Welcome tradition and tea with an assortment of delicacies while listening to Tenor Stephen Coutts singing much-vaunted opera classics.
Tickets are $105 per head (plus booking fee).
