About
This much-loved annual event welcomes non-member parents, locals and friends to enjoy one of Australia's great golf courses at a significantly reduced rate, with all green fees donated to Barwon Heads Primary School.Enjoy an 18-hole Ambrose round while supporting local students. Funds raised will support The Resilience Project at Barwon Heads Primary School in 2027.
Event Schedule
Following the completion of the Club's $20 million clubhouse renovation and restoration, the Community Golf Day returns to its popular shotgun start format, followed by a family gathering in the Clubhouse.
1:00pm – Shotgun Start
Complimentary Par-3 Golf & Tennis (For School Families)
From 4:00pm – Complimentary Par-3 golf and tennis for Barwon Heads Primary School families. Bookings are essential by calling 5255 6255.
After Golf – From Approx. 5:30pm
Post-golf gathering and presentations in the Clubhouse Links Room.
Players and family members are warmly invited to join us in the Clubhouse following play. Clubhouse dress standards apply. Smart, neat casual wear is required. Blue denim, singlets, leggings, casual shorts and rubber thongs are not permitted. As a courtesy and in keeping with Club tradition, caps, hats and visors should be removed upon entering the Clubhouse. Appropriate golf or tennis attire, including soft-spike shoes, is welcome.
Light refreshments will be available, with prizes awarded for Nearest to the Pin and Longest Drive.
