Starting your own sole-trading business can feel exciting, overwhelming, and sometimes a little lonely.

We're three experienced speech pathologists who have each built our own successful sole-trading businesses from the ground up. Along the way, we've learned that having a supportive network makes all the difference. As business owners and friends, we regularly share ideas, problem-solve challenges, and support one another through the realities of running a private practice.

Back for the second time, we’re sharing our knowledge to support other allied health professionals on their sole trading journey. Whether you’re just starting out or curious about what’s involved, we’d love to help you navigate the process with confidence.

In this practical workshop we offer step-by-step guidance, from initial set-up to booking your first client. All allied health professionals are welcome!

We'll cover everything from applying for an ABN and ASIC applications, through to setting up booking systems, fee schedules & service agreements. We'll also share practical tips for retaining practitioner-client rapport whilst also managing administrative conflicts like cancellations and late payments. You'll leave with functional advice, email templates and more.
