About the Presenter

Dr Aimie Peek (BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy, MSc Advanced Manipulative Physiotherapy, PhD) is an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist trained in the UK and an APA Titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with a special interest in the assessment and management of headache and neck pain.
She currently holds a conjoint appointment between Northern NSW Local Health District and Bond University and is also a Lecturer and Unit Coordinator within the undergraduate and Doctor of Physiotherapy programs at the University of Sydney.
Aimie's research focuses on improving patient pathways and outcomes across a range of pain and neurological conditions. Her work includes investigating neurochemical and clinical subgroups of treatment responders in migraine and headache disorders, as well as exploring patient journeys in migraine, concussion, women's health, and other persistent pain conditions.
A strong advocate for clinician-led research, Aimie is passionate about supporting healthcare professionals to develop research skills and pursue clinically meaningful research questions that can directly improve patient care and service delivery.
