Presenter

Alicia Pelham, is a Special Counsel in the Corporate and Commercial team at HWLE. She advises government bodies, lenders, agribusiness operators, private individuals and corporate clients on a broad range of commercial and property transactions, from routine matters to complex, large-scale projects. With extensive experience in transactional work, Alicia specialises in mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracting, real estate, real estate finance, agribusiness, banking and financial services, aged care and retirement living, consumer law, and wills and estates. She is known for her practical, solutions-focused approach and her ability to guide clients through transactions with confidence and clarity. Alicia has been recognised in the 2025 Doyle’s Guide as a Leading Property & Real Estate Lawyer in Tasmania and in the 2024 Doyle’s Guide as a Leading Corporate, Commercial & Business Lawyer in Tasmania. She is also a Notary Public and an active member of the Society’s Pro Bono Committee.
