Our Local FIRM is a group of business owners and managers who get together for lunch each month to share news, views, opportunities and challenges in business and life. We have the golden rule of "no selling" - we are there for the Fun, Inspiration, Relationships and Meaning because they are what the group is all about. At each lunch, we have a discussion on a particular subject of common interest and we collect songs from you to put on our Youtube Music playlists for everyone to enjoy. This month, we are doing three things. Firstly, we are inviting everyone to share one goal that they have for 2026-2027. Secondly, we are learning about effective goal setting and implementation using the SMARTER goal methodology. Thirdly, we are inviting everyone in the room to contribute to our plan for achieving our particular goal. That really brings the I and R and M in FIRM into play. We've chosen I for Inspiration as the song theme - songs that you think are insightful and aid self-reflection for you or give you motivation to start (or keep going with) something.
