Young Engineers club is an after-school Lego Engineering program at Tingalpa State School for PP-YR6 students running weekly on Fridays. Young Engineers offers unique STEM programs where children have fun while learning critical skills for the digital age.
In this program, students design and build a wide range of motorised models. Through these hands-on projects, they explore key STEM concepts such as forces, motion, symmetry, lift and drag, and robotics, while also developing coding skills using LEGO®-based prototypes. By connecting these concepts to real-world machines, the program builds problem-solving skills, creativity, and confidence in STEM.
