Donnybrook's Careers Parent Workshop (SOLD OUT)
About
Using Careers Data to Help your Child Right NowWe’re excited to invite you and your child to a careers workshop focused on helping families make confident, informed decisions about the future.
The world of work is changing quickly, especially with the growth of artificial intelligence and new technologies. This session will break down what that means for young people and how students can prepare – not just for their first job, but for a future full of changing opportunities.
We’ll explore the importance of transferable skills and how these skills are developed through both school and everyday experiences. We’ll also introduce some simple Labour Market Information tools that can help you and your child explore career pathways, understand job trends, and make smart subject choices throughout secondary school.
Most importantly, the workshop will give you practical ways to support your child in keeping their options open while building the skills they need to succeed.
We encourage parents and students to attend together – it’s a great chance to start meaningful conversations about the future.
**Each student must be accompanied by an adult. One adult and student per booking.
