Velavane' is a Bharatanatyam production that traces a heroine’s emotional and spiritual journey as she reaches toward Lord Muruga with a heart full of yearning, devotion, and unwavering faith. Rooted in classical repertoire and enriched by contemporary narrative sensibilities, the performance places special emphasis on story architecture—how longing unfolds, deepens, and transforms across time. 'Velavane' invites audiences to witness not just a story, but a process: how devotion shapes longing, how longing sharpens devotion, and how the heroine’s journey mirrors the timeless human search for connection with the divine. The production will be accompanied by an exceptional live orchestra.We are proud to share that all proceeds from the show will support the noble humanitarian initiatives of the Sivan Arul Foundation.
To further contribute to this cause, we are hosting a charity raffle featuring items and vouchers valued at over $100, with all funds directed towards the Foundation’s impactful work.
