Year 10 Drama presents Romeo and Juliet
6:30 pm - 8:15 pm
Trinity Christian School Performing Arts Centre
What happens when love is born in a place of hatred? Two families are divided by an old feud. Two young people meet by chance. In a world shaped by anger, loyalty, pride, and expectation, Romeo and Juliet dare to imagine something different. But when choices are rushed and words become weapons, hope and heartbreak collide. Shakespeare’s timeless story reminds us that love can be powerful, fragile, and costly.
Please be aware that Romeo and Juliet explores serious themes, including conflict between families, violence, grief, death, and references to suicide. The performance is presented in a school context, and all moments of violence are carefully rehearsed and staged. Viewer discretion is advised as some scenes may be emotionally intense for younger viewers.
