Discussion Forums - Research Student Symposium
Research candidates are invited to take part in a series of discussion forums designed to spark ideas, share perspectives, and help shape the look and feel of the 2026 Symposium. Whether you have big ideas, practical suggestions, or simply want to be part of the conversation and find out more, these forums are your opportunity to influence an event that reflects ECU’s graduate research community.
Following the forums, there will also be an opportunity to join the symposium organising committee. Getting involved — through the forums or the committee — offers valuable professional development, including experience in communication, teamwork and collaboration, leadership, and time and project management.
Most importantly, your input matters. These conversations help to support a research culture that is shaped with the student community, not just for it.
Register for a forum to be part of the conversation:
- Monday 15 June – 12noon – 1.30pm, Joondalup Campus (includes light lunch)
- Tuesday 16 June – 12 – 1pm, Online
- Wednesday 17 June – 12noon – 1.30pm, ECU City (includes light lunch)
