Session 2: AI in Action: Hands‑On with the Latest Platforms
About
AI in Action: Hands‑On with the Latest Platforms is a practical, beginner‑friendly introduction to today’s most popular AI tools, delivered in partnership with Good Things Foundation Australia and Libraries SA. The session demystifies artificial intelligence by showing how people already use AI in everyday life and at work, often without realising it. Participants are guided through hands‑on examples of Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity, learning what each tool is best for - from productivity and creative tasks to research and fact‑checking. With a strong focus on digital inclusion, responsible use, and AI literacy, the presentation empowers library staff and community members to use AI confidently, safely, and effectively.Date
