City of Melbourne - Docklands Wellbeing workshops

The City of Melbourne is pleased to advise the delivery of a Mental Health and Wellbeing Program in Docklands for older people living within the City of Melbourne.This initiative aims to promote mental wellbeing, strengthen social connection, and build mental health literacy within our community.
The City of Melbourne’s Community Wellbeing and Neighbourhoods teams have engaged The Capacity Studio to deliver this program over a six-week period.
The program will be held at the Yarra’s Edge Community Space located at Ground floor, Array Tower, 100 Lorimer St, Docklands VIC 3008 and will run across six weekly sessions. Each session will be two hours in duration, including 1.5 hours of workshop content followed by 30 minutes of morning tea, which will be provided.
The weekly sessions will cover the following topics:
• Healthy Brains
• Rest & Sleep
• Social Connection
• Positive Mindsets
• Food and Mood
• Movement and Mindfulness
The program is designed to accommodate 20–25 community members who are interested in developing practical skills to support their wellbeing.
Participation in the program will be free of charge, with places allocated to the first 20–25 participants who are available to attend all six consecutive sessions.
Participants will be provided with a workbook, and sessions will include presentations, group discussions, and breakout activities facilitated by The Capacity Studio. City of Melbourne representatives will also be present at each session.
The program will commence on Friday, 17 July 2026, with weekly sessions held from 10:00am to 12:00pm.
