The launch of Reclaiming Democracy Together at Melbourne Town Hall on 9 May marked the beginning of an ambitious seven-year initiative to renew democratic life in Australia and beyond. Bringing together more than 2,500 participants in person and online, the launch demonstrated the widespread desire for deeper public engagement, meaningful dialogue, and democratic renewal.

Now comes the important work of turning that energy, goodwill, and commitment into lasting action.

This online gathering is an opportunity to learn more about the vision, structure, and next steps of the project. Whether you attended the launch, completed the engagement survey, expressed interest in becoming involved, or are simply curious about the initiative, we warmly invite you to join us.

During the session, we will:

* Explore the goals, principles, and emerging structure of the project
* Discuss the many ways people can contribute their skills, experience, networks, and enthusiasm
* Share insights from the engagement survey and community feedback
* Answer questions about the initiative and future opportunities for involvement
* Consider next steps, including working groups, workshops, events, and ongoing communication
