About
The Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing Act 2024 (PRIS Act) introduces a new framework for how Western Australian public sector agencies collect, use, disclose, store and share personal information.Online information sessions will be available from 8 June 2026 to 3 July 2026 to help staff understand how the PRIS Act applies to the FPC and their day-to-day responsibilities.
The session will provide a brief overview of:
• The purpose of the PRIS Act.
• Key privacy principles and obligations.
• Responsible information sharing provisions.
• What the changes mean for staff and Agency operations.
You are required to attend one information session which will run for approximately 1.5 hours.
