About

Since 2019 I have travelled to Lombok Indonesia to supply sports and educational supplies to Lombok school children.
I started with 1 suitcase of sports supplies from Australia, to assist children who had suffered loss and trauma in the Lombok Earthquake of 2018.
In this 1st trip, I discovered the need for basic sports and educational supplies in the village schools and how the Australian dollar could really go a long way in making a difference to these village schools.

I have returned to Lombok to donate to many more schools since. I have more and more friends each year on my return ask me how they can help contribute towards donating to the next school trips.

I have hosted charity fitness events over many years to raise funds, and this year I will be hosting a Quiz night where all the purchased tables of 10 and the fundraising games on the night will be used to purchase all the sports and educational supplies. Due to travel and transportation costs of supplies from Australia to Lombok, I now use most of the donations to purchase school stationary and teacher supplies in Lombok sourcing it locally for the schools to support their local community.

I am not a registered Charity Organisation, just someone who started a small project to help others in their time of need, donating to the locals in Lombok post earthquake on a very small solo scale, and now have many family and friends who love to support a school or two when I return each year.
I have a lovley local Teacher In Lombok called Feri, who was a Teacher at one of the first schools I donated too a few years back. Now every year, Feri looks for new schools that could really use donated sports equipment and educational supplies to support their Village Schools.
I now also have people who wish to help with the purchase and distribution of the supplies to the schools in Lombok. This year I will be assisted again by Wendy.
